Back in June last year we talked about the "Drinkable Book". The pages of the book were to be used to filter water in areas with poor water and sanitation. The simple idea has now been tested in both lab and field with impressive results. Further testing will be required but so far, things seem to be going well. Each book has twenty,  1mm thick pages, each is impregnated with silver nano particles...

Earlier in the year I come across an article for the 'Drinkable Book', this is an idea that I really like. Described as; The first ever Manual that teaches safe water tips and serves as a tool to kill deadly waterborne diseases. The book looks like any other book at first glance, with twenty pages, each around 1 millimetre in thickness. It comes inside a 3D printed box cover which doubles as a filter box when filtering water...
